The investigation at the Clarksburg VA Hospital is not over, according to Senator Shelley Moore Capito. Earlier this week, 46-year-old Reta Mays pleaded guilty to seven counts of second-degree murder. She admitted she didn’t have a medical license, degree, or certification, and she has not explained why she injected veterans with fatal doses of insulin. Capito says, “We need to find out how someone who was unqualified, was able to be in a room with our veterans, unsupervised.”
