Delegates push for special session

Governor Justice is against a special session, but legislators continue to push for one, to oversee aspects of the state’s COVID-19 response, including the allocation of one-point-twenty-five-billion-dollars in federal relief funds. Delegate Mick Bates held a virtual town hall with Senator Joe Manchin, where he said the state shouldn’t receive any money from the federal government until there’s more oversight by legislators.
