Major developments surfaced Tuesday in a case that has drawn national attention, an FBI investigation and an outcry of concerns about the mysterious deaths of multiple veterans at the VA Medical Center in Clarksburg. Court documents indicate that Reta Mays, a former nursing assistant at the medical center, entered guilty pleas in seven of the deaths and the assault of another patient. WCHS TV reported Mays is accused of wrongfully giving the patients at the center insulin. Federal officials have been probing at least 11 deaths at the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center and several lawsuits have been filed.
