The Logan County Sheriff’s Office said it wants to make residents aware of a scam where callers claim they are raising money for the sheriff’s office. A Facebook post from the sheriff’s office said members of the Logan County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association have been receiving questions about whether they are raising money after calls apparently were made in the local area. The sheriff’s office said the calls are part of a scam, and no one is raising any funds for the office or the Deputy Sheriffs’ Association.
