Nearly 50 new cases of COVID-10 in WV

There are almost fifty new cases of COVID-19 in West Virginia, bringing the total to over three-thousand, and more than 600 of those are active cases. The state’s death toll remains at 93. The positive test rate is below two-percent.

The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department tested more than five-hundred people for COVID-19 at the Schoenbaum Center this week. Four more testing events will be held next week in Kanawha County.

Nearly 180-thousand people have been tested statewide, and the positive test rate is below two-percent.
