The West Virginia State Board of Education rolled out the second edition of its color-coded re-entry map Saturday night. Kanawha County finished with a weekly average that put it in orange, meaning face coverings would currently be required for grades three and above, no assemblies or large group activities and athletics will be limited to practices only. Logan County which was previously red in the last map provided by the state board, is now orange. Monroe County is the only red county in the state and Fayette County is the only other orange county. The remaining counties in the state were either green or yellow. School is set to begin Sept. 8 in West Virginia, but high school football games in the state are set to begin Sept. 4.
