Kanawha County Will Receive STOP Program Funds

Governor Jim Justice announced $1.1 million in funds that will ultimately help domestic violence victims. The STOP Violence Against Women grant program funds will be sent to 27 projects across the state that help police officers, prosecutors, and victim service providers respond to domestic violence. They’ll get tools, equipment, and training. Counties that will benefit include Cabell, Fayette, Kanawha, Logan, Mingo, Nicholas, Putnam, Raleigh and Roane.
