Flu shots are now available through the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department. This comes as Kanawha County trends in the wrong direction when it comes to COVID-19 cases. Recently Kanawha County has seen outbreaks at weddings, funerals and churches. Dr. Sherri Young with the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department is pushing for everyone to get a flu shot. The first shipment is in, and the health department has more than 10,000 doses. You can get a shot at the Kanawha County Health Department or at a COVID-19 testing site when you get tested.
