All Charleston Area Medical Center hospitals are reinstating a no visitation policy. The move is in response to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the area and high rate of community spread. The policy affects all CAMC hospitals, including CAMC General Hospital, CAMC Memorial Hospital, CAMC Teays Valley Hospital and CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital. It also includes emergency rooms and all inpatients. One essential caregiver will be permitted in pediatrics, obstetrical services and the NICU. End of life care will be authorized on a case-by-case basis.
