Kanawha County is asking for two mobile field hospitals to treat minor injuries and illness outside of the emergency departments at CAMC General and CAMC Memorial. The hospitals need to separate patients with minor injuries from COVID-19 patients inside the hospitals. State officials say a field hospital isn’t necessary, at this point.
