An ammunition company could bring more jobs to the Kanawha Valley. Ranger Scientific is a start-up ammunition company that specializes in harmonically tuned ammunition, and WCHS TV reported it has targeted the Kanawha Valley for production. It plans to develop two sites – putting administrative offices in the old Montgomery High School in spring 2021 and building an ammunition factory on more than 130,000 square feet in the Quincy area in three or four years. The project will cost more than $50 million made possible by a USDA loan in addition to personal investments.
