Kanawha and Cabell counties remained in the yellow and Putnam County in the green on the latest West Virginia county alert system map. The color of the daily map will be important in Charleston on Saturday because that will determine whether trick or treat will be held in the capital city. City officials have said Kanawha County must be in green, yellow or gold on the DHHR daily map that day for trick or treating to happen.
