It’s been months since there’s been steady traffic around schools during drop-off and pick-up times, and Hurricane police are among the agencies sending the reminder. Officers are noticing a problem at several schools with vehicles stopping in the crosswalk and not at the painted stop line. It’s against state law to roll into the crosswalk. School zone speed limits are also in effect.
