Five-day, in-person classes begin next week

Kanawha County School Superintendent Tom Williams says the district is ready to go with five-day-a-week in-person classes beginning Monday. The school board voted to end its blended schedule a week early. One West Virginia teacher’s union surveyed its members this week, and over 85-percent say the school board is making the wrong decision. More than 13-thousand kids will return to the classroom for the first time since March.
