The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department wants drivers to slow down in the construction zone on U.S. 35. The sheriff’s department has been cracking down in that area, and has issued over two hundred citations since late September. One driver was traveling at 90 mph through the 40-mph construction zone. Construction is expected to be finished by July 2021.
