A K-9 that retired from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office several years ago has passed away. In a Facebook post Tuesday, the sheriff’s office shared the news about the loss dog, Boss, a black Labrador retriever that actively served the community for nine years from 2008 to 2017. Boss spent his years after retirement living with his handler, Sergeant William “Richie” Callison and family and lived to the age of 15.
