More than 6,000 people in Barbour, Randolph, Webster and Doddridge counties will get connected to broadband internet service thanks to a federal project. The funding for the nearly $8 million project is coming from the U.S. Department of Agriculture as part of the second round of the ReConnect Program, which helps rural areas.
