School Lunches Have Changed Because of COVID-19

This week is National School Lunch Week, and COVID-19 has forced school systems across the country to serve meals differently than the traditional cafeteria style. Meals served to Mason County students are sealed now, and one-by-one cooks put each serving in individual containers. Then the meals are loaded onto a cart to be delivered to the classroom where each student is served. Grants are helping to offset the added cost of serving meals due to COVID-19.
