Those using SNAP benefits can spend extra cash at more than 40 farmer’s markets around the state on the SNAP Stretch Program now. The SNAP Stretch Program doubled or even tripled the amount of money someone can spend on produce, meat or dairy as of Saturday. The SNAP Stretch Program is back after a three month hiatus with $100,000 of CARES Act funding.
