An employee in the Kanawha County Assessor’s Office has tested positive for COVID-19. The front office of the assessor’s office will be closed until Monday, Nov. 16, but those needing personal property tickets will still be able to obtain those. The Kanawha County Commission said Assessor Sallie Robinson was notified Tuesday of the case and notified employees who had contact with the employee. The West Virginia National Guard is being asked to sanitize the office space where the employee worked.
