Scheduling conflicts with a sports tournament have prompted a polling place change for some voters in the South Hills section of Charleston. George Washington High School’s administration notified County Clerk Vera McCormick Friday that the school can’t be used as a polling place in tomorrow’s general election because of the sports tournament. Precincts 240, 240A, 240B, and 241 will be moved from George Washington to John Adams Middle School. They’ll have message boards up in the South Hills area, directing voters, and they’re spreading the word on social media.
