Kanawha moved from yellow to gold, Putnam stayed in orange and Cabell remained in gold in the latest West Virginia county alert system map. The map from the state Department of Health and Human Resources showed that Mingo County remained as the state’s only county in red. Ten counties were in orange including Putnam and Lincoln. Ten counties were in gold including Kanawha, Boone and Fayette.
