Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the explosion at a Belle chemical plant earlier this week. They say the explosion had minimal impact on air quality in the area. The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection looked at data from the time of the explosion and the hours following and didn’t see a spike in pollutants.
