Hino Motors is pausing production of its trucks until next fall, impacting the company’s large manufacturing plant in Mineral Wells. The Wood County plant employs about five-hundred people. Production was curtailed after the pandemic began in March. The company says this pause is due to issues with engine certification testing for new models in North America.
