An employee with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Home Confinement Office has tested positive for COVID-19, and the office was closed as a precaution. The county said the home confinement office will be closed until further notice and the West Virginia National Guard will sanitize it. Home confinement officers will stay in contact with their clients while the office is closed.
