Three people were in an SUV Wednesday around 3 p.m. near the Haines Branch exit of I-77 heading southbound when deputies said the driver of the SUV that was in the right lane tried to move into the left lane and hit a tractor trailer. The impact of the crash caused the SUV to roll several times. Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Brian Humphreys said 13-year old Hailey Harper of Sandyville in Jackson County died after the crash and two others were injured.
