Forty-one of West Virginia’s 55 counties were in the red or orange in the latest version of the county alert system map. The state Department of Health and Human Resources posted the map Wednesday based on Tuesday’s data. Kanawha, Putnam and Cabell counties remained in the orange. Logan and Fayette counties were among those in gold. Only three counties are in green.
