Charleston police officers released the name of a man found dead Friday afternoon. 20-year old Nathaniel Spivey was found with multiple gunshot wounds when police responded about 2:30 p.m. to a shooting in the 200 block of Wertz Avenue. Officers said police and firefighters attempted life-saving measures, but Spivey was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators are following several leads, but said no arrests have been made.
