Sen. Joe Manchin said over the weekend that the Dept. of Veterans Affairs has given the okay for all four VA Medical Centers in West Virginia to receive initial doses of the Moderna vaccine. Manchin said he sent a letter this week calling on the VA to explain why many rural Veterans were excluded from the vaccination plan. Manchin said he’ll continue working with VA to ensure veterans have access to a COVID-19 vaccine as quickly as possible.
