A correctional officer and a nurse are in the hospital after they were potentially exposed to fentanyl at the South Central Regional Jail. Two inmates needed medical assistance and when the nurse and guard responded, they started to show signs of “medical distress.” The area where it happened is being decontaminated, and the incident is under investigation.
