A COVID-19 vaccination clinic will happen tomorrow in Kanawha County for those 65 and over who signed up through the state’s virus vaccination registration system. The clinic will run from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department said those with appointments will be contacted with their appointment time and no walk-ins will be accepted. If the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department administered the first dose of your Moderna vaccine on Dec. 30, Dec. 31, or Jan. 2, you should come to Friday’s clinic to get your second dose. The clinic was initially scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 30 but was moved to Friday, Jan. 29. Free parking for Friday’s vaccination clinic is available at the Coliseum parking garage. The county health department is teaming up with the Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority to operate the clinic.
