A new wellness center is set to open in Roane County and it’s a project that has been 25 years in the making. The Roane General Hospital Center for Wellness will open Monday, February 1 and it completes the first phase of a $20 million expansion project that was launched in October 2019. The RGH Center for Wellness will be located on the first floor of the hospital and includes a fitness complex for use by medical fitness and cardiac rehab patients. Once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, the fitness complex will be available to the general public.
