Some COVID Patients Feel Better With New Treatment Option

Thomas Health in South Charleston and CAMC in Charleston are administering new COVID treatments. They have medication available for patients with mild COVID symptoms with the goal of keeping them from getting worse. The aim is to keep patients from having to be admitted to the hospital. The patients get IV infusions that aren’t cures, but they do help patients feel better. Patients have to be referred by their doctors and the infusions have to happen within 10 days after the onset of symptoms.
