Two Face Animal Cruelty Charges in Dunbar

Two people have been charged with animal cruelty after officers said they found four dogs chained in an empty house covered in urine and feces. Terrence Williams, and Shirley Williams were charged after officers located them at a second home. Shirley Williams told officers the animals had been left in the care of her husband, Terrence Williams, and their son. The son claimed his 16-year-old daughter had been making visits to the house about twice a day. The criminal complaint said the dogs were chained in an area that only allowed them to walk as much as four feet and none of them were able to reach their water and food bowls, which were empty. The dogs were taken to get immediate care once they were removed from the home.
