Bond denied for cop killer

A Kanawha County judge is denying bond for the man accused of shooting and killing Charleston police officer Cassie Johansson. She was shot in December while responding to a traffic complaint. Thirty-eight-year-old Joshua Phillips is charged with first-degree murder. His attorney requested that he be allowed to live with his mother in Cross Lanes because of his medical condition. Phillips has a bullet lodge in his spine and another bullet in his shoulder from the shooting.
