Governor Justice is optimistic that shipments of COVID-19 vaccine will ramp up in the coming weeks. The Biden administration has finalized a deal for two-hundred-million more doses of the vaccine, which is enough to meet the goal of vaccinating three-hundred-million Americans by the end of July. West Virginia’s allocation is expected to increase to over thirty-thousand doses per week. More than seventy Walgreens pharmacies around the state will receive an additional 73-hundred doses beginning this weekend.
