Kanawha County Schools is nixing a remote “spring break.” All classes were scheduled to be online March 8th through 12th, but now will be in-person learning days. The West Virginia Department of Education says the district is not permitted to use non-traditional days. Full-remote learning is only permitted for things out of the county’s control, like weather or COVID-19.
