The town of Madison’s police chief is hospitalized after a cardiac-related incident.
Police Chief Chet Burgess is being treated at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Hospital, according to a Facebook post Wednesday from his wife, Tammy Burgess. The chief is on a ventilator and is being treated for some blockages. Community members and first responders have been showing support for the chief.
