The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office said a man reported missing has week was found dead Saturday. Deputies said 27-year old Claude Lonnie Slate III of Clendenin was found dead in the 5000 block of Frame Road Saturday. Deputies who who responded to the report learned that Slate had been operating a go-cart and the vehicle left the roadway and crashed. Slate had been reported missing Thursday.
