The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department is releasing new information in the murder of Alexa Randolph. She was reported missing last month, and her last known location was at a home on Arkwright Avenue, where her son was staying with his grandfather, 60-year-old Gary Smith. Investigators believe the crime scene is Smith’s garage. Randolph’s body was later found in the back of her SUV in a Walmart parking lot. Smith made several statements implicating himself in Randolph’s death.
