Icy roads may have been factor when a train hit a coal truck. The truck was pulling away from a coal tipple and got stuck on the ice as it was trying to cross the railroad tracks. The driver jumped out of the cab before the train slammed into it. The train pushed the cab about a half-mile down the tracks before it could come to a stop. No one was hurt.
