TSA Checkpoints Now Check for Masks

A federal mask mandate went into effect this week for public transportation and local airports are adjusting. TSA checkpoints have to make sure each passenger is wearing a mask. Before the order, it was up to individual airlines to set their own policies and enforce them and non compliance can get a passenger kicked off of a flight. The Biden administration is also considering requiring a negative test in order to fly domestically. Even with the new restrictions, Yeager Airport in Charleston and Tri-State Airport in Huntington are noticing an increase in travelers.
