Two Face Charges For Steel Theft

A father and son are facing grand larceny charges after allegedly stealing more than $20,000 worth of steel parts from a Charleston construction company.
Larry Mullins and Brian Mullins are accused of taking about 30 large galvanized steel anchor rods and 50 galvanized steel fasteners from McCloy Construction. The two are accused of taking the steel parts to River Metal in Sissonville and selling it for scrap for $154. Police used surveillance video to investigate the theft and both men admitted to taking the steel, according to the criminal complaint.
