Woman is Wanted After January Animal Cruely Investigation

Charleston police said Amanda Wallace is wanted on three animal cruelty charges. An arrest warrant was issued this week after a humane officer investigated complaints in January about abandoned animals at a home in the 1500 block of First Avenue in Charleston. The officer discovered that Wallace had lived at the home, but she moved to St. Albans and could not take the animals with her. The officer found that no one had been taking care of the animals and the entire interior of the house was covered in feces and urine, and there was no food or water for the animals.
