The Kanawha County Commission is considering filing a formal lawsuit against Columbia Gas and private property owners for their responsibility in a dangerous slip on Blue Creek Road. WCHS TV reported it’s a road that has caused issues for residents for years. Last month, the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office served the private property owners and Columbia Gas for notice of violation on the slip. That means the slip could cause a very dangerous landslide and the owners need to correct it on their dime. Kanawha County Commission President Kent Carper said serious action will be taken if someone doesn’t take responsibility to fix the slip.
