COVID-19 outbreaks have been reported at seven schools. The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department said the outbreaks were reported at St. Albans High School, Chamberlain Elementary School, John Adams Middle School, Riverside High School, St. Francis Elementary School, Hayes Middle School and Cross Lanes Christian School. Health officials said 41 students and three staff members are affected. Dr. Sherri Young, health officer and executive director of the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department said students should be diligent about social distancing and wearing masks.
