South Charleston will see nearly 30 businesses move in the next year or so directly across from the Riverwalk Plaza off MacCorkle Avenue. South Charleston Mayor Frank Mullens said construction for Park Place is right on time. WCHS TV reported the next step involves 900,000 cubic yards of fill going into the pond sometime in May. Mullens said the Park Place development has already gained a lot of attention from possible retailers.
