There is Hope for Festivals This Year

Live music is coming back to Charleston this summer with events like FestivALL and Live on the Levee. City officials are looking forward to not only bringing these social events back, but to try and bounce back financially from the pandemic. WCHS TV reported the financial impact of having to cancel events like Live on the Levee was large, but too hard to quantify. FestivALL will look different this year and the options are still being considered for June and October. Some FestivALL events may be held in person, but some online. More than 170 bands and musicians have applied to perform during this year’s Live on the Levee season.
