A Man is Sentenced to Prison for Fayette County Crimes

Fayette County prosecutors said a judge sentenced a man who stole two vehicles and fled from officers twice before eventually being captured after he went into the Gauley River. Anthony S. Lively of Lizemores was sentenced to one to three years in prison. Prosecutors said Lively stole property in July 2019 from an outbuilding at a home in Gauley Bridge. Lively stole a pickup truck in March 2020 from a home in Gauley Bridge, and a sport utility vehicle in Kanawha County in May 2020 which was recovered in Gauley Bridge.
