Glenville State Junior Kristen Lopez is the first recipient of the “Cassie Johnson Memorial Scholarship.” Johnson was killed in the line of duty in December. Glenville State plans to endow the one-thousand-dollar scholarship, which will be awarded annually to a criminal justice major.
